Tori Myotoshi Eldridge
Tori M. Eldridge is a teacher, author and motivational speaker in addition to wife and mother. She holds a 5th Degree Black Belt Master's License in the art of To Shin Do ninjutsu and is presently the 3rd highest ranked woman in the Stephen K. Hayes www.skhquest.com world wide organization.
Eldridge travels all over the country giving seminars in To Shin Do ninjutsu, Physical and Emotional Protection, Emotional Empowerment, and Supple Spine Fighting Applications. At home, she shares her knowledge at the Warrior Quest Society in Newbury Park, California www.warriorquestsociety.com where she has been the Senior Instructor since its formation. She utilizes her extensive experience in Kickboxing and Tang Soo Do, in which she also holds a Black Belt, to give her students a broader awareness of the more common martial arts techniques available to the general public.
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Eldridge attended Northwestern University before performing on Broadway, TV and film. Her notable skill in movement (CATS - 1st National Tour, Original Company ), and her critical eye for detail (FINAL FANTASY THE MOVIE - Aki, Performance Motion Capture) are hallmarks of her reputation as a martial artist. As Stephen K. Hayes wrote in his forward for Empowered Living, "She has developed the ability to teach how to blend inner awareness of human nature with the outer sensitivity required for moving to just the right place at just the right time while applying just the right fit when it comes to self-defense technology.
In addition to performing in such Broadway musicals as CATS, ZORBA (starring the late Anthony Quinn), and THE LITTLE PRINCE (starring Michael York), Tori has recorded with Brian Wilson and also appeared on 13 episodes of THE LOVE BOAT along with Teri Hatcher (Desperate Housewives) as a Love Boat Mermaid. Her numerous TV and film performances both on camera, audio dubbing replacement, and performance motion capture are divided between her maiden name, Tori Brenno, and her married name, Tori Eldridge.
With a novel and several screenplays under her belt, as well as Empowered Living, Tori keeps her writing chops honed with frequent articles for the Warrior Quest Society newsletter Senban.
